We were given a sketch of a house with dimensions and some material guidelines. The house was then drawn up in AutoCAD and imported in to 3ds Max.
I wanted to model as much as possible myself instead of importing ready made models. The first thing I did was the wood buring stove which was specified in the sketch. I felt that it was important for the space, and therefore also very important to get right, so I spent quite some time modelling that, learning a lot in the process. Some other things I modelled was the Lamino armchair, dining table and chairs, light switches and sockets, kitchen sink and faucet, and the bowl for the fruit.
I used Marvelous Designer for the kitchen towels and pot-holders, blanket and pillows and the dining chair upholstery.
